I have pulled my Kember Lynn kit out of the closet and dusted it off for all of you, today I share it as my first freebie here at ScrapWhat. I really want to show you the preview but for some reason I am not able to get it to come out right here(it ends up taking the entire page over, LOL). It is a pretty little kit that my 5 year old daughter helped me to create, hence the name Kember Lynn. She had final say on all colors and embellishments so I hope you enjoy your freebie, she worked really hard on it(and so did I).
On the subject of my daughter, as of today she has a weird rash again so I will be taking her in to the ER first thing in the morning. I just wish they would find what it is that’s causing all of this, I feel so desperate and helpless watching her go through this so young.
Well without much more ado, here is the link to get this kit(just click the word DOWNLOAD below).

I have been working on a few tutorials for everyone and I will post them in the next few days. One will highlight how to create custom brushes using your childrens artwork. Children are so very simplistic and creative when given the proper tools and encouragement and you would be surprised how these drawings make excellent brushes for digital scrapbooking purposes. I was mulling over a few more but I have not made up my mind which ones I will be working on so I think I will keep it quite until I decide but I promise they are both fun and easy.
I will be starting a few new things here as well, first I will be giving out digital scrapbook freebies a couple times a week starting soon. I will be having a few contests soon that will earn some lucky scrappers really cool goodies and as soon as I have the details all worked out I will post and let you know. Hint: a complete kit with a commercial use license attached.
I also wanted to put a call out there for someone with html code and OSCommerce experience, I need help getting my web-site trully going and I am offering complete access to my kits for life. That’s right, if you help me out you will be able to use all LeahsFrogs Creations kits both Personal Use and Commercial Use absolutely free. You will also get free advertising and can place items on my store front free of charge with no obligations to me. If you are interested or want to take a look at some of my work, please leave me a comment below and I will contact you. This way I visit your page as well (traffic for you).
Well kiss those babies.

Not much new in the world of digital scrapping for me I am afraid, well I have created a few new things and decided that all my older pay to use kits are going to be commerical use kits as soon as my website is running right. I will be offering memberships that will grant members different levels of access to paid kits for free.
I hope it goes over better than charging for each kit, it seems everyone is looking for the best value and I do unterstand that. I am thinking up new and creative rewards for my followers as I type and I am positive they will appreciate them. How about a poll today? Should I concentrate on creating commercial use items or personal use kits? I would love to hear your opinion on this and it would help me narrow down what to work on right now.
Well, kiss those babies and look forward to hearing your vote!

Here I am again today with more links to some of my favorite digital scrapbook tutorial sites like Digital Scrapbook Place. This site has a large selection of graphics program tutorials as well as general digi-scrap tutorials.
Do you use the free graphics program Gimp? Well then, Scrapbook’s Gone Digital is a great resource for you. They have video and text tutorials from the basics up. Of course I can not forget Digitals, she has Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro tutorials for a wide variety of topics.
Well on a personal note, my daughter is doing really well, you would never guess she spent the better part of a month so ill. No real new info on why she is getting sick so often but we hope to learn more once she has her second round of tests done next month, here’s me keeping my fingers crossed. Kiss those babies.

I know a few of you follow me looking for Photoshop Tutorials and I have been lacking of late, so I thought I would take this time to post a few links to tutorials that I found helpful. I am in no way affiliated with any of these sites but I would say I recommend them and found them very informative while learning to use Photoshop for digital scrapbooking. I sniffed around and asked questions anywhere I could, and the sites I list here were some of the first and most popular that was thrown out. Although they only have a few tutorials, they are great quality and very easy to follow(especially for those, like me, who just can not seem to graso the software quickly
Laurie Garza has a nice colection of easy to follow video tutorials. If your looking for curled ribbon or how to make a digi-kit then look no further than Sonja’s Studio.
Well I hope these tutorials help you as much as they helped me, and as soon as my Photoshop problems work out I will begin posting my tutorials once again. Kiss those babies.

Well I received some results of a few tests that they performed on my daughter recently and so far everything is coming back negative. That is a big relief, I was terrified that she would have cancer like my niece. So we have ticked off Hodgkins and Lupus from the list of possible reasons she keeps getting ill, but just yesterday i had to take her back in because the site where they took her blood was infected and running a red streak up her arm.
This poor baby can not seem to win for losing and she just hates me for being the one who holds her down when they run their tests. I try hard not to let her words of frustration hurt me but they do, she is just so tiny and scared. Everynight she wakes up screaming and comes running to my room, this would not be a problem but she has never slept in our bed before. I guess she is more affected by all this than she is letting on. While she was on the prednisone she gained 5 whole pounds, that was in one week! It is not a bad thing though because we do not let the kids eat much junk and they always have fresh fruits and veggies for snacks. She is such a little bird when it comes to eating normally so seeing her devour plate after plate of food was a nice change. I did not like the mood swings they caused, she is already the poster child for chewable childrens Midol so the extra crying fits were almost unbearable.
Well, I gotta go tuck her back in, kiss those babies!

I was emailed today from someone who wanted to know if they could use a digital scrapbook kit for their we-site design. The true answer to this questions is that it depends on the designer, each person has a different set of usage rules that can be obtained by going to their site or should be included in their downloads. first thing, never claim the work as your own and second provide their name and a linkback to their site if they require this.
If you have a design that was a commercial use ok item, either a freebie or something you purchased, you can usually use it in many ways without having to pay extra to do so. It all comes back to the Terms of Use for each designer, some have an extensive amount of rules to be followed and some are more lax with their designs usage.
My commercial use freebies which can be located on my Blog, LeahsFrogs Creations (link is listed in the blogroll to the right if you want to check it out) are free for you to use in anyway you choose. Yes, I do unterstand the implications of that statement and still I do not have any limitations attached to my commercial use freebies. This however does not apply to my paid to use commercial or personal use kits, but if you want to use a kit you purchased to spruce up your web-site or blog, please feel free to do so as long as you state somewhere on your page that the kits name and my design name.
Well, kiss those babies.

More news on my daughter, I took her back to the Dr. today and it seems that we are only begining to understand the depths of what is making her sick. She has had strep-throat, Mono, foliculitis, chronic warts and now chronic cysts caused by a virus all in the last month. Apparently her immune system has weakened and she is catching everything she comes in contact with. The even worse part is that her body has become hypersensitive to these viruses causing her to break out with allergic reactions.
The Dr. put her on some prednisone to calm everything down so she can have further tests to see what the main problem is. I am scared to death, Hodgkins runs in the family as well as Lupus so my mind is going places I shudder to think about.
I told you a couple posts ago that I had a gift in the works for you and I do, sorry I made you wait an extra day it has just been so hectic. That gift is free digital scrapbook kit created by me for Halloween, you can download it HERE. I hope you enjoy this kit and please feel free to share you creations with me, I love to see my kits being used to create wonderful memory pages.
Kiss you babies.

So I am desperate right now because my Photoshop Elements suddenly disappeared from my hard drive and I am forced to use my Paint shop Pro 7 program. I am getting further with it than previously but it is not like I have much choice right now. I did learn that you must copy and paste items onto your working canvas instead of dragging them like in Photoshop. It was a bit frustrating trying to create until I figured that out.
Once I jumped that hurdle the rest was easy to figure out, I guess I was being stubborn and loyal to my Photoshop. The blending and filter options were easier to learn as they were not much different than with Photoshop. So I should be releasing a new kit soon, just in time for my web-site to go live. I am so excited!
On a personal note, my children have been seeing their share of just about every virus that has been going around. My seven and two year olds have strep-throat and my daughter was just diagnosed with mono. How in the world does a five year old who does not go to school or daycare catch Mono? well, kiss those babies an be careful the viruses seem extra potent this year.

I realised this morning while driving to work that I have not posted a single thing here in two days. I have been so immersed in work and getting the kids ready for Halloween that it just slipped by without much notice. I want to appologize fot that, i guess I need to keep a journal handy everyday so I can check off everything that I must do before going to bed each night.
Well, is everyone ready to start scrapping those Halloween photos yet? I know I am and I get an added bonus this year because baby Charlie was old enough to go trick-or-treating and we took tons of photos last night.
I hope you all had a great evening with your little ghosts and goblins. I have a special treat planned for you all so check back tomorrow to see what it is. Trust me you don’t want to miss this one! Kiss those babies.
